Chiara Izzi is one of the most prominent vocalists on the international music scene, having made her mark since relocating permanently to New York City and quickly becoming one of its most sought-after voices. Her move followed a major career milestone: winning first prize for best vocal performance from Quincy Jones at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival Vocal Competition. Known for her refined combination of jazz traditions and contemporary styles, Chiara also draws on Italian songwriting and Brazilian music. She is also a composer, with her song “Circles Of The Mind'' awarded Best Jazz with Vocals at the Independent Music Award for Best in 2020. Her latest releases include Live In Bremen (Dot Time Records/2022) which embodies a classical richness enhanced by Izzi’s stylistic method of blending her lyrics and languages, and Across The Sea (Jando/2019), a cooperative project with pianist Kevin Hays. She has performed at top venues including Birdland Jazz Club, The Kennedy Center, Jazz Aspen Snowmass, and the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF), with critics praising her as "a force of nature" (All About Jazz) and "a talent to be heard, admired, and anticipated" (Jazz Times).

Philippe Lemm Trio
March 22nd
Doors at 12pm
Music at 12:30pm
The Philippe Lemm Trio, "Winner of the International B-Jazz Competition and Winner of Best Solist Prize. The Philippe Lemm Trio is continually proving to be one of the most exciting and electrifying jazz trio's around today. Led at the helm by drummer Philippe Lemm, the group met in New York in 2011, and after one session together, realized that their undeniable chemistry was one that needed to be taken and shared with the world.
Comprised of three musicians with exceptional command of their instruments, the group's repertoire draws heavily from re-imaginations of jazz standards in a way that both defies genre and corresponds to any modern jazz fan.
The group uses their trust and understanding of one another's musical tendencies to create passionate musical soundscapes, which range from traditional jazz to the progressive rock/classical-influenced music.
Hearing the trio is a special and unforgettable experience, and you will be captivated after listening to one piece."
The trio has performed on stages like: Blue Note New York, Ronnie Scotts, North Sea Jazz Festival, Pori Jazz Festival, Bimhuis(Amsterdam), Concertgebouw, Getxo Festival(Bilbao), Rockwood Musichall (New York), Loftas (Vilnius), Tivoli (Utrecht), Blue Frog(Mumbai)
